Training Information

As always, QUT hockey has available to its players some great training programs to help each player get the most out of their hockey. Below is all the info that you'll need to get involved in some great training

Fitness Training

To give ourselves the edge on the hockey field, fitness is a big part of our season. These sessions  are guarenteed to motivate you and get you into great shape ready for the season ahead.

Time: Tuesdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Location: QUT Kelvin Grove(ovals off Herston Road between the ICB (Inner City Bypass) and Victoria Park Golf course)

Womens Turf Training

This year the women are competing in divisions 3,4,5.  Training is split into fitness, starting at 8:00pm, followed by turf, starting at 9:00pm.

Time: Wednesdays 8:00pm to 10:00pm
Location: State Hockey Center, Colmslie

Womens Grass Training

The club also has 2 grass teams for 2008. One team in DP2 and another in DP4.

Time: Thursdays 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Mens Turf Training

The mens teams have expanded this year with teams in Divisions 1,2,3 and 5. This gives us the ability to cater to all skill levels, from hardcore players to seasoned veterans to first timers.

Time: Thursday 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Location: State Hockey Center, Colmslie
